It was a special evening at Discovery Park of America on March 2, 2024.

A few Main Street board members were in attendance at the Discovery Awards Gala where David Ring, great grandson of Union City’s Doc Nailling, was one of the recipients of the Discovery Award.

Mr. Ring was chosen as a recipient for this award for all of the incredible revitalization work he has done in downtown Union City. From the luxurious Nailling Apartments, Vantage Coffeeshop and Market, to a new project in the works at the corner of First and Church, Mr. Ring has played a very important role as the catalyst for bringing new energy to downtown Union City.
