Downtown is excited to have our very own artist studio in the downtown district! The Art Room by Abi is an eclectic space for artists of all ages and backgrounds to come together and be creative. Abi Hellmich is a local who is passionate about sharing her gift of art and teaching with others – whether you’ve been an artist since birth or just now picking up a paint brush. The Art Room offers paint classes, party reservations and more. It’s a vibe, and we are thrilled to have this great addition to downtown Union City.

If you are looking for a nice spot for a picnic in the nice weather, you can head over to the pretty downtown Kiwanis Park. Full of shade trees and picnic tables, this park is perfect for a nice rest from shopping.

This “pocket park” is known for its iconic mural that encapsulates the big landmarks known in Obion County and Union City. The park is perfect for photo opportunities, a lunch break and reading a book from the “Free Little Library.” You will surely enjoy this fun park in the center of the action in downtown Union City.

Reelfoot Brewing Co.

Reelfoot Brewing Company opened fall of 2024 and has been a great addition to the downtown district. Brewmaster and owner, Eric Sanford, brews, pours and serves patrons during open hours. With over 10 locally-made beers on tap, there is bound to be one for everyone in your group. Grab a homemade Bavarian pretzel or order from Bricks & Brews next door and bring it over to enjoy on the open-air patio or around the fire pits in the back.
